Plate Carrier Rothco MOLLE Vest Laser-Cut — Black

The MOLLE Vest Laser-Cut is a plate carrier made from 600D polyester, designed to accommodate ballistic plates in SAPI, ESAPI and Swimmer Cut formats from medium to large, with a maximum size of approximately 34 x 26 cm. The Regular size is dimensioned for a waist circumference of up to approximately 112 cm and is intended for professional operators, instructors and shooters who need a configurable ballistic carry platform.

The MOLLE system is laser-cut rather than column-stitched: the result is a cleaner, lighter surface free of overlapping fabric layers that add unnecessary bulk. The front and rear panels each offer 14 rows of PALS webbing, while each side of the cummerbund adds a further 5: the available surface allows the load — magazine pouches, radio, medical kit — to be distributed rather than concentrated at the front. The cummerbund is adjustable and removable and integrates side pockets for smaller-format plates, allowing coverage to be extended without adding a separate carry system.

The shoulder straps are adjustable with quick-release buckles: this ensures fast doffing when required, but means the tension should be checked periodically, as quick-release systems tend to loosen more than traditional closures under prolonged stress. The internal lining is made from breathable mesh, which reduces heat build-up in direct contact with the body during extended wear, at the cost of slightly greater thickness compared to flat-fabric solutions.
