Rothco MOLLE Vest Laser-Cut Plate Carrier — Green

The Rothco MOLLE Vest Laser-Cut is a plate carrier made from 600D polyester, designed to accommodate ballistic plates in Medium and Large SAPI, ESAPI and Swimmer Cut formats up to 26x34 cm. The removable cummerbund accepts side plates up to 15x18 cm, extending ballistic coverage to the flanks without altering the base structure. The Regular size fits a range of body sizes from M to XL thanks to adjustable quick-release shoulder straps.

The MOLLE surface is laser-cut rather than stitched with sewn loops: the result is a front and back panel with 14 rows of PALS webbing and 5 rows on each side of the cummerbund, where the cleaner profile reduces edge thickness and weight without sacrificing compatibility with standard pouches. The trade-off to consider is that laser-cut MOLLE, while neater and lighter than stitched MOLLE, requires pouches to be attached carefully: a rushed attachment may not engage all the loops and can reduce retention under load.

The internal air-mesh lining distributes heat and reduces direct contact between the plates and the body, making the carrier more comfortable during extended use. The 5 pockets in total include the internal plate compartments, an admin pocket and the cummerbund compartments, leaving the entire MOLLE surface free to configure the load-out according to operational or training requirements.
