Plate carrier Rothco Laser-Cut MOLLE Vest — Coyote Brown

Plate carrier in 600D polyester designed for extra-large sizes (2XL–3XL), compatible with SAPI, ESAPI and Swimmer Cut ballistic plates up to 26x34 cm in the front and rear plate pockets. Aimed at professional operators, shooting instructors and shooters with a larger build who cannot find a proper fit in standard sizes.

The laser-cut MOLLE structure eliminates the stitching of traditional loops: the front and rear panels offer 14 rows of PALS webbing, while the cummerbund sides add 5 rows per side. This means a large attachment surface with clean edges that do not give way under the weight of loaded pouches — unlike stitched panels where loops tend to loosen with repeated use. The available usable surface lets you configure the carrier without having to leave pouches out for lack of space.

The cummerbund is removable and includes side pockets for soft or hard plates up to 15x18 cm, extending coverage without adding a separate system. The shoulder straps are padded, adjustable and fitted with a quick-release: in an emergency the carrier comes off in a single movement without having to loosen each buckle individually. The internal air-mesh lining reduces heat build-up against the torso, a relevant detail during extended sessions. The trade-off to consider is the weight of the size: a carrier dimensioned for 2XL–3XL has larger surfaces and a more developed frame than small or medium versions; anyone wearing it for many consecutive hours should factor this into their load distribution setup.
