The WST Mini Steel Mesh is a steel mesh half-mask designed for smaller faces: at 20 cm wide and 13 cm tall, it is 5 cm shorter and 1 cm lower than a standard mask of the same type, sitting securely on narrower facial structures without slipping or obscuring the sight picture.

The mesh covers only the nose and mouth, leaving the cheeks open: shooters who mount the weapon and press their jaw against the stock find nothing in the way, and peripheral vision stays clear. The steel structure is built to absorb direct impacts and protect the teeth and lips — the most exposed areas and the hardest to cover with glasses or goggles. The cheek pads are generously cushioned and faced externally with 1000D nylon, a fabric that handles abrasion and softens blows to the cheekbone without adding unwanted rigidity.

The mask is ANSI Z80.3 certified, meaning it has been tested to resist penetration at an energy of 3 J from a distance of 5 metres, equivalent to roughly 170 m/s with 0.20 g BBs. To be clear: the mesh protects the mouth and nose area, not the eyes — pairing it with certified ballistic glasses or goggles remains mandatory. The adjustable elastic straps allow it to be worn alone or over a cap; helmet adapters are optional and not included. At just 100 g, it is barely noticeable during extended sessions.
