The protection system combines ultrasonic-welded TPR thermoplastic rubber over the knuckles and fingers with EVA padding at the index finger's first knuckle, delivered through the proprietary Impact Guard system. That last detail is deliberate: clearing the index finger's first knuckle from the trigger guard profile reduces friction on entry, improving fluidity during repeated drawstrokes. The trade-off worth knowing is that TPR protection, while absorbing impacts and abrasion, adds a small amount of bulk to the glove profile. Anyone who prefers a minimal-contact feel against the firearm will find this stiffer than a half-finger glove. The palm combines Armortex reinforcement with XRD high-impact padding, designed to attenuate both impacts and weapon-transmitted recoil vibration during fire. The TrekDry material on the back of the hand promotes heat dissipation, limiting sweat build-up during extended sessions. The TPR hook-and-loop wrist closure delivers a secure fit without restricting the wrist. Machine washable.
