The bidirectional YKK side zip with integrated draught baffle allows the bag to be opened partially from the foot end to adjust ventilation without exposing the torso to the cold. The footbox is internally reinforced to allow boots to be worn inside — a solution that prevents footwear from freezing overnight at shelterless bivouacs. The hood is adjustable via an elasticated drawcord, and the deployable side baffle increases internal volume for side sleepers. The length can be shortened using a clip at the foot end, useful for anyone who does not need the last few centimetres and prefers to reduce the air volume that needs to be warmed.
