Viper Tactical Shooter Kit Chest Rig

The Shooter Kit is a compact load-carrying system from Viper Tactical's VX Buckle Up line, designed for those who need operational gear without sacrificing speed of setup. The kit combines the Utility Rig chest rig and the Scrote pouch, which attach to each other via velcro in seconds, and includes an internal mag pouch selected at the time of order based on the calibre in use.

The VX Buckle Up line is built around system modularity: the two pieces detach and reconfigure independently, and can be integrated with other components from the same line to build a more extended setup. The Scrote mounts directly onto the Utility Rig via the velcro panel, adding carry volume without requiring additional attachment hardware. The trade-off to be aware of is that the velcro connection offers considerable positioning flexibility, but is less rigid than a hard-attachment system: for those operating in conditions where pouch stability under load is critical, it is worth factoring this in beforehand.

The internal mag pouch is selectable at the time of order: the Triple Mag Sleeve fits the majority of 5.56 mm magazines (M4, AK74 and similar formats), while the Quad Mag Sleeve is optimised for 9 mm magazines (MP5, MP7, Scorpion Evo and similar) and also works for pistol magazine carry. The choice of sleeve therefore directly determines compatibility with the weapons system in use.
