The SATAC Universal MOLLE Pouch is a dual-compartment magazine pouch designed to carry two rifle magazines on a MOLLE/PALS system. Made from CORUND™ 500D fabric, it weighs 80 g and accepts pairs of M4/AR, AK or G36 magazines and similar formats, making it compatible with the most widely used magazines in operational and hunting contexts.
Retention relies on a combination of Velcro and elastic cord: a solution that favours speed of draw and re-insertion over active security. In high-mobility situations where a magazine needs to go back into the pouch one-handed without looking, this cuts reload time. Those who expect to operate in very dynamic positions — crawling, rolling, elevation changes — should bear in mind that the absence of a positive retention clasp leaves the magazine less constrained under strong lateral forces.
Standard MOLLE attachment ensures compatibility with plate carriers, chest rigs and belts fitted with PALS webbing, with the option to position the pouch to suit individual dominance and ergonomics. The CORUND™ 500D fabric offers abrasion resistance suited to heavy use without adding unnecessary weight.
Key features
- Accepts two M4/AR or AK magazines and one G36 magazine, covering the most common formats without additional adaptors.
- The 80 g weight keeps the loadout light even when the pouch is full.
- Elastic retention with Velcro allows a spent magazine to be re-inserted quickly without undoing any clasp — a real advantage during rapid-fire sequences.
- Standard MOLLE attachment lets you move it to any PALS platform already in service, with no dedicated adaptors required.
- CORUND™ 500D fabric resists the abrasion of prolonged carry without stiffening in cold conditions.
