The SATAC Rip-off IFAK MOLLE Pouch is an individual first aid kit pouch designed for professional operators and personnel working in tactical environments. The attachment system combines a 3x3 MOLLE/PALS base with a quick-release Velcro rip-off panel, allowing the pouch to be carried on a vest or plate carrier and detached in a single motion when needed, passing it directly to whoever is providing first aid.
The dual attachment system is the central feature of the design: the MOLLE structure keeps the pouch secure during movement and absorbs the mechanical stress of active use; the rip-off Velcro panel allows the entire pouch to be handed over without stopping to undo fasteners or transfer contents. This combination is effective in operational contexts where the first aider and the casualty may be different people. The low empty weight of 185 g adds minimal burden to the base loadout.
The material is CORUND™ 500D, a high-abrasion-resistance technical fabric that holds the pouch's shape even under frequent use. Note that the IFAK does not include medical supplies or identification patches: the medical contents are the operator's responsibility, which allows the pouch to be configured according to individual protocols and certifications.
