SATAC Open MOLLE Magazine Pouch for M4 / AK — Multicam

Open-top magazine pouch made from CORUND 500D fabric, compatible with magazines from 5.56 mm (M4, SSR4, MK18, M16, Tavor, SCAR-L and similar) up to 7.62 mm (AKM). Measuring 110x80x20 mm and weighing 80 g, it mounts cleanly on any MOLLE system without adding bulk.

The 2x3 column MOLLE attachment provides a solid grip on a plate carrier or tactical belt – no tools required, no movement once secured. The open top removes every intermediate step during the draw: the magazine is immediately accessible with one hand. This makes it particularly well suited to dynamic shooting and drills where reload speed is critical.

The trade-off is the one typical of open-top pouches: reinsertion is fast and silent, but passive retention relies entirely on fabric friction and magazine profile. During abrupt movements or in inverted positions, a slim-profile magazine may come free more easily than it would in a pouch with a retention snap. The choice is right for those who prioritise operational speed in contexts where the body remains predominantly upright.
