Rothco OCC FAST Advanced Helmet — Black

The OCC FAST Advanced is a ballistic-style tactical helmet made by Rothco, designed for operators, instructors and outdoor enthusiasts looking for head protection with a FAST profile and an adjustable internal suspension system. The black colour makes it well suited to operational and training environments.

The FAST profile (Future Assault Shell Technology) is optimised for compatibility with side-mounted active hearing protection and other helmet accessories: the lowered side cut leaves room for the ear cups and headbands, allowing ballistic-style protection and hearing protection to be combined without interference. The integrated side rails accept standard accessories — torches, cameras, sight mounts — with no additional adapters required.

The internal retention system with rear dial allows the shell to be quickly fitted to different head sizes, even when wearing gloves. It should be noted that Rothco describes this helmet as a product for training and tactical use, not as certified ballistic protection: anyone requiring rated protection should verify the specific certification before purchasing.
