Rothco's Combat Suspenders are tactical braces made from elastic polyester, designed to support belts up to 10 cm wide. They distribute the weight of your gear across the shoulders, reducing pressure on the hips during long operational shifts or days out hunting. The main strap measures 5 cm wide, while the side loops are 2.5 cm.

The width of the main strap is not a cosmetic detail: 5 cm of elastic webbing spread the load across a surface wide enough to prevent the strap from cutting into the shoulder, even when the belt carries a holster, magazine pouches and other accessories. A narrower strap would concentrate the same force over a smaller area, becoming uncomfortable within a few hours.

The plastic quick-release buckle lets you remove the suspenders without pulling them off entirely — useful whenever you need to put on or take off your kit quickly. Compatibility with belts up to 10 cm wide makes them suitable for the most common double-belt systems used in operational and hunting contexts. The trade-off is that the elasticity of the polyester provides freedom of movement but lacks the rigidity of a stiff nylon system: the belt may shift slightly under heavy load compared to more constrained solutions.
