Rothco Combat Suspenders — Black

Rothco's Combat Suspenders are tactical braces made from elastic polyester, designed for anyone carrying a heavy duty belt on the job, out hunting, or during extended shooting sessions. The main strap width of 5 cm distributes weight across the shoulder without creating pressure points, while the 2.5 cm side loops ensure a secure connection to the belt.

Compatibility extends to belts up to 10 cm wide, making them suitable for the majority of rigger belts and duty belts on the market. The elastic material moves with the torso without pulling the belt upwards during running or crouching — a practical advantage over rigid braces that tend to lift equipment exactly when it needs to stay put.

The plastic quick-release buckle system allows the suspenders to be removed without having to strip the belt, simplifying transitions between different configurations. It is worth noting, however, that a plastic quick-release buckle offers less mechanical strength than a fixed metal closure: for those operating under high stress or carrying very heavy loads, this is a factor to consider before choosing.

Key points

• The 5 cm main strap width reduces shoulder pressure during prolonged use with a loaded belt.
• Compatibility with belts up to 10 cm wide covers most duty and hunting setups.
• The elastic polyester material follows movement without shifting the belt from its working position.
• The plastic quick-release buckle allows fast removal of the suspenders without having to clear all equipment from the belt.
