The Nite Ize Radiant Rechargeable Disc-O Select is a rechargeable LED light stick designed as a permanent replacement for single-use chemical glow sticks. The full-length illuminated body offers five selectable modes, making it suitable for emergency kits, night-time signalling while hunting, low-light operations, and general outdoor use.

A full charge takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes via micro USB, and the built-in battery delivers up to 8.5 hours of continuous runtime on a single charge. There are no spare batteries to carry and no chemical capsules to dispose of — a meaningful advantage on extended outings or in logistically constrained situations. During charging the entire body glows red; it switches off automatically when fully charged, removing any guesswork about battery status.

The five available modes — Disc-O (automatic colour cycling), green, blue, red, and red flashing — are selected by pressing the central button, with no menus or sequences to remember. The lockout function, toggled by holding the button for 5 seconds, prevents accidental activation during transport. The stick is waterproof to 1 metre depth for up to 30 minutes, a useful rating in heavy rain or when crossing water. The integrated S-Biner on the cap allows quick attachment to a pack, a MOLLE belt, or inside a vehicle; unscrewing the cap gives access to the charging port.
