ProTech Guns Smart Gas Green Gas 750 ml — Black

Smart Gas is the green gas propellant from ProTech Guns, available in a 600 ml canister designed for gas-powered airsoft guns: GBB and NBB pistols, rifles and carbines. The formula contains silicone oil that lubricates internal components with every fill, reducing wear on seals and moving parts over time.

With silicone built directly into the gas, there is no need to lubricate magazines frequently: each fill deposits a protective film on pistons, suppressors and valves. The manufacturer states that the Smart Gas formula maintains acceptable performance at temperatures around 5 °C, conditions under which many conventional gases drop noticeably in pressure and lose their lubricating ability. It is not the ideal gas for summer shooting at high temperatures, where higher-pressure propellants deliver better rate of fire and range: those who prefer warmer conditions may want to consider high-pressure variants, while Smart Gas is at its best in moderate and cold temperatures.

The plastic nozzle fitted to the canister is designed not to damage magazine seals during filling — a detail that matters especially on airsoft guns with delicate fill valves, where a metal nozzle can deform the seal seat over time. The canister is metal, 300 mm tall, and is not refillable.
