The GFC JPC is a plate carrier with separate panels connected by a skeletal cummerbund made of stiffened straps, designed for those looking for a lightweight and modular ballistic carry system. It accepts medium-sized plates in both the front and rear panels, and is fully adjustable to fit different body sizes.

The skeletal cummerbund is the design choice that defines the trade-off of this carrier: it reduces empty weight and keeps the profile slim, but offers less lateral mounting surface than a full MOLLE fabric cummerbund. For those who do not need to attach pouches to the sides, the weight saving is real; those who do need to carry gear on the sides will need to supplement the system with dedicated strap accessories.

The front panel integrates a universal magazine pouch with elastic loop retention, compatible with M4/M16 and AK magazines, capable of holding 3. The loop system ensures fast draw and equally fast re-insertion, without rigid catches to operate under stress. A flat chest pocket with a hook-and-loop panel for patches and badges is stitched to the front. MOLLE surfaces on the front and rear panels allow the system to be expanded with any PALS-compatible pouch.
