Nite Ize CamJam Tie-Down Straps 3.7 m — Black

Nite Ize CamJam are tie-down straps with a die-cast zinc alloy cam buckle, 3.7 m long and 25 mm wide, sold in a two-pack. They are designed to secure loads on vehicles, trailers, roof racks and fixed structures whenever you need reliable, repeatable tension without tying knots.

The high-density woven polypropylene webbing is sewn to the buckle with 4 bar-tack stitches: spreading the load across multiple stitch lines reduces the risk of localised failure that a single seam would present. A protective pad is built in under the buckle to prevent scratching painted surfaces or delicate load materials.

The anti-slip cam mechanism allows tension to be released progressively even under full load: this eliminates the sudden snap that occurs when a ratchet strap is opened under tension, reducing the risk of throwing objects or losing control of the load. The trade-off compared to a ratchet system is lower maximum clamping force: CamJam straps are the right choice when speed of use and controlled release on medium loads take priority, not for applications that demand the highest possible tension.
