The Miltec Tactical Drop-Leg is a universal drop-leg holster designed for full-size and compact pistols, worn on the left leg. The drop-leg platform lowers the retention point relative to the belt, freeing up the hips from additional equipment and keeping the draw accessible even when wearing a plate carrier or a fully loaded tactical belt.
The construction is 100% nylon, a material that resists abrasion and moisture without adding unnecessary weight. The body is designed to accommodate a wide range of pistols without any shape adjustments, making this holster well suited to those who frequently change sidearms or operate in environments where standardised equipment is required. The trade-off typical of universal systems applies here: lateral retention is not moulded to any single pistol, so security relies entirely on the Velcro strap on the upper retention loop. This allows a fast draw without levers or buttons, but requires attention during intense physical exertion or if inverted.
The thigh strap adjusts via a buckle, fitting different sizes and allowing the holster to be positioned at the preferred height. The left-handed configuration is a mirror image of the standard version: the muzzle end is oriented so that a right-handed shooter does not need to cross their arm to draw, and the retention Velcro is naturally accessible with the left hand.
