With a base of 7x3 cm and a height of 12 cm, it accommodates most compact radios in common use; the upper bungee cord extends the maximum usable height to 20 cm, adapting to longer units without locking them in place with a rigid retention system.

The 100% Oxford polyester construction keeps weight low while providing a surface stiff enough to hold its shape even when empty, making single-handed reinsertion straightforward. Compared to a flap-and-velcro or buckle-closure pouch, the open top with bungee allows draw and reinsertion in fractions of a second, with no additional steps — a clear advantage when moving or in an awkward position. The trade-off is equally straightforward: elastic retention is sufficient for normal movement and standing activities, but will not secure the radio in the event of a fall or roll. The MOLLE/PALS attachment system mounts to any compatible panel — plate carrier, chest rig, rucksack or equipped belt — using the standard weave-through straps. The fit is permanent until you choose to reposition the pouch: no residual play once correctly attached.
