Lightstick Miltec Mini 40 mm — Red

The Miltec Mini Lightstick is a single-use chemlight with a 40 mm ABS body, supplied in a pack of 10 units. Activation is simple: bend the stick and shake it. The internal chemical reaction produces red light with no heat and no flame, making it suitable for night signalling and position marking in total darkness.

Red is the signalling colour that best preserves adapted night vision: those observing from a distance can see it clearly, while people nearby retain their scotopic sensitivity. This makes it useful during low-light operations, at bivouacs, or for marking reference points in the field without requiring batteries or any ignition source.

Water resistance eliminates the risk of failure in rain or accidental submersion. The compact size — 40 mm in length — allows several sticks to be carried in a jacket pocket or emergency kit without adding meaningful weight. Compared to standard-size versions, the Mini trades some duration and light output for minimal bulk: it is a rapid signalling tool, not a sustained light source.
