HERA ARMS

The HERA ARMS CQR G2 is an angled ergonomic foregrip made from glass-fibre-reinforced polymer, weighing 170 g. It mounts on any 20 mm RIS rail (MIL-STD 1913) and is designed for shooters who want muzzle control without compromising wrist ergonomics.

Unlike traditional vertical foregrips, the angled profile follows the natural wrist angle during a forward grip hold, reducing fatigue during extended shooting and improving lateral weapon control. The finger-groove geometry introduced in the G2 generation increases contact surface and prevents slipping even with tactical gloves. The trade-off to consider: the compact profile makes it well suited to short platforms like the M4A1, but shooters who prefer a full vertical grip will find the shape less compatible with that technique.

The CQR G2 integrates both a traditional sling loop and a QD socket, allowing any sling system to be attached without additional adapters. Pairing it with the CQR G2 stock — sold separately — produces a visually and functionally consistent setup, particularly suited to compact tactical configurations.

Key points

  • The angled profile reduces wrist fatigue compared to a traditional vertical foregrip, supporting control during extended sessions.
  • The G2 finger grooves provide a secure grip even with gloves, without requiring excessive hand pressure.
  • Integrated QD socket and traditional sling loop: compatible with all common sling systems, no adapters needed.
  • Glass-fibre-reinforced polymer keeps weight at 170 g while absorbing the impacts and mechanical stress typical of field use.
  • Direct mount on 20 mm RIS rail (MIL-STD 1913): no adapter required on the vast majority of tactical rifles.
