The Helikon-Tex Range Polo Long Sleeve is a long-sleeve shirt designed by shooters for shooters: it was developed at the range and addresses the real-world needs of anyone who spends hours on the firing line wearing a belt and full kit. The body is made from 100% polyester at 370 g, comfortable against the skin and quick-drying after heavy sweating or light rain.
The sides and elbows are made from VersaStretch, a blend of 93% polyester and 7% nylon that adds stretch exactly where mechanical stress is highest. This is a meaningful technical choice for anyone wearing a loaded belt: standard fabric in these areas wears out quickly from friction against holsters, magazine pouches and buckles, while VersaStretch flexes and recovers without losing its integrity. The reinforced elbows include a small sleeve for inserting hard elbow pads — not included — useful when working on hard surfaces or spending extended time in a supported position.
Underarm mesh panels aid heat dissipation during intense sessions, where a closed-collar polo retains more heat than a t-shirt: this is the accepted trade-off in exchange for sun protection on the arms and a lower visual profile. On the sleeves, two hook-and-loop panels on the biceps allow identification patches to be attached; beneath each panel sits a flat zip pocket for small items. A discrete loop lets you hang sunglasses when not in use.
