DuraCanvas® is water-resistant, not waterproof: it sheds splashes and light rain, but is not intended for prolonged exposure to water. On the other hand, the polyester-cotton blend offers better breathability than fully synthetic fabrics, making the jacket wearable for extended periods without excessive heat build-up. The 100% polyester inner lining helps the jacket slide over base layers and contributes to insulation at moderate temperatures.
