Wiley X SAINT Ballistic Eyewear — Matte Black

The SAINT is a ballistic eyewear model by Wiley X designed for shooting, hunting and professional use on small-to-medium head sizes: interpupillary distance is 68 mm, the nose bridge 16 mm and the temples measure 114 mm. The package includes three interchangeable lenses — Light Rust, Smoke Grey and Clear — covering the full range of lighting conditions without requiring separate accessories.

The Selenite™ polycarbonate lenses meet the military ballistic standard MIL-PRF-32432(GL), as well as the civilian high-impact standard ANSI Z87.1-2010 and the European standard EN 166: they are rated for both high-velocity impact and mass impact, which sets them apart from common sports eyewear that typically meets only one of the two requirements. UVA/UVB protection is 100% across all three lenses, and the T-Shell™ coating makes them scratch-resistant even in harsh environments.

The three lenses address distinct lighting needs. The Smoke Grey lens transmits 15% of light and cuts glare to a minimum without distorting colour rendition: it is the go-to choice in full sunlight. The Light Rust, at 53% transmission, enhances contrast in medium or fading light — useful at dawn and dusk or under forest canopy. The Clear lens, at 90% transmission, is intended for indoor use, night conditions and heavily overcast days. Lens changes are quick, but the snap-in system requires some care: Rx lenses are not interchangeable with standard lenses, so anyone who uses prescription lenses should factor in the compatible version at the time of purchase.

The dual-injection temples and nose bridge provide a secure fit even during sharp movements, without pressure points that become uncomfortable over time. The wrap-around frame geometry delivers a wide field of view.
