Ghillie Suit Kicking Mustang KMCS Ultra-Lite Poncho — Multicolour

The KMCS Ultra-Lite Poncho is a 3D camouflage poncho system made from IRR-treated fabric, designed for static shooters, hunters and operators who need to break their outline without adding weight to their load. Weighing just 379 g, it is worn over any equipment and covers the helmet as well, transforming the operator's silhouette into the surrounding environment within seconds.

The IRR (Infrared Reducing) treatment lowers the near-infrared signature, making the poncho less detectable by image-intensifying night vision devices compared to untreated garments. Those operating in environments where NV observation cannot be ruled out therefore gain an additional margin of concealment over a conventional ghillie suit.

The breathable 3D fabric construction and the ability to compress the poncho into a compact package address the classic ghillie trade-off: a traditional hessian suit offers richer texture and three-dimensionality but is bulky, heavy and does not breathe. The Ultra-Lite sacrifices some of that extreme three-dimensionality in favour of packability and thermal comfort, making it well suited to extended outings or situations where the ghillie is put on and taken off several times throughout the day.

Key Features

• The 379 g weight provides a complete camouflage system without meaningfully adding to the overall load.
• The IRR treatment reduces the near-infrared signature, lowering visibility to image-intensifying observation devices.
• The poncho cut fits over a jacket, plates and helmet without requiring the operator to remove or modify their underlying equipment.
• The breathable 3D fabric limits heat build-up compared to traditional hessian or net ghillie suits, making it suitable for movement or extended waiting periods.
• The Multi-Terrain pattern adapts to multiple environments and seasons, reducing the need to carry scenario-specific variants.
• The compressible material allows the poncho to be packed in a rucksack and worn only when needed, without permanently occupying space.
