Nite Ize Gear Tie Reusable Twist Ties 15 cm — Charcoal

Nite Ize Gear Ties are reinforced rubber twist ties with a metal core, 15 cm long, sold in a pack of two. They bend, twist and hold their shape without any tools: useful for bundling cables, securing antennas to handheld radios, fastening accessories to packs, or keeping gear organised in the field.

The internal metal core ensures the tie holds exactly the shape you give it, without loosening over time. Unlike single-use plastic cable ties, the Gear Tie can be removed and reapplied without damage, making it well suited to configurations that change frequently: a cable unclipped at camp and refastened the next morning holds just as well as it did on day one.

The rubber coating protects contact surfaces from scratches and provides a non-slip grip even with wet hands or gloves. The trade-off to keep in mind is that, unlike a clip-closure cable manager, the Gear Tie does not apply a calibrated clamping force: on tubes or cables whose diameter is much smaller or much larger relative to the tie's length, the hold depends on how carefully it is wrapped.
