The lenses pass the ball drop impact test under the ANSI Z80.3 standard, tested across a temperature range of -10 °C to +42 °C. Under these conditions, the critical velocity for lens scratching is 310 fps and the critical energy for lens breakage exceeds 3 joules — figures that comfortably cover standard outdoor field play with typical replicas. It is worth noting that ANSI Z80.3 certification addresses projectile drop resistance and is not equivalent to a military ballistic rating: this mask is suitable for airsoft use, not for live ammunition or fragmentation.

The full-face design removes the need to pair it with separate eyewear, simplifying your kit and eliminating any gap between eye protection and lower face protection.
