The SATAC Magazine Dump Bag is a drop pouch for spent magazines, designed for shooters who run high-tempo sessions with frequent reloads and need to collect empty magazines without breaking their pace. It weighs 226 g and attaches to both MOLLE/PALS systems and belts, fitting a range of loadout configurations without modification.
The drawstring closure keeps the opening fully clear during use: dropping a magazine in one-handed – even under pressure or wearing gloves – is immediate. The trade-off is that the contents are less retained than with a rigid retention system; in dynamic positions or when carrying a full load, the drawstring should be tightened before moving. This is a deliberate choice in favour of access speed, not a design shortcoming.
The body is constructed from 1000D nylon, a tightly woven, abrasion-resistant fabric suited to field use and the demands of a dynamic shooting range.
Key features
- Drawstring opening: magazines go in and come out in a single motion – no clips to engage, no buttons to press.
- Dual MOLLE and belt attachment: mounts on a plate carrier, chest rig, or battle belt without additional adapters.
- 226 g empty: adds no meaningful weight to your kit when not in use.
- 1000D nylon throughout: withstands the abrasion of field sessions without premature material failure.
- The drawstring should be tightened before moving with magazines already inside – factor this into your pre-action routine.
