Dump Pouch Helikon-Tex Competition — Olive Green

The Helikon-Tex Competition Dump Pouch is a spent-magazine pouch designed for competitive dynamic shooting: large enough to accept multiple rifle or pistol magazines in quick succession, it attaches to MOLLE/PALS systems or directly to any belt up to 45 mm wide.

The stiffened collar with adjustment drawcord is what sets this dump pouch apart from a plain bag: in competition, when you're dropping a magazine one-handed without looking, the opening has to stay up and centred. The drawcord lets you tighten or widen the opening to suit your clothing and mounting position, adapting the pouch to your individual shooting geometry without tools. The mesh bottom prevents sand and debris from building up — on outdoor stages that would add unnecessary weight and foul your magazines.

The open top is the right design choice for a dump pouch: it allows instant, blind reinsertion of a spent magazine with no catch to operate. The trade-off is straightforward — retention depends on gravity and the drawcord alone, not on a mechanical lock. On a course with obstacles or jumps, an open-top pouch can shed its contents if the cord is not tight enough. Shooters who run stages with sharp movements or rough terrain need to set the collar carefully before the stage starts. Cordura® 500D fabric provides abrasion resistance without unnecessary weight, and the volume is sufficient to stow ear protection or gloves between stages.
