CORUND™ 500D is a high-density synthetic weave: the 500-denier yarns offer abrasion resistance superior to the lighter nylons commonly used on generic-range rucksacks, without reaching the weight of materials found in rigid bags. It is a considered choice for those who carry the pack on their back over rough terrain, where contact with rock, branches, or vehicle bodywork is the norm rather than the exception.

The MOLLE webbing covering the entire outer surface allows modular pouches, hydration carriers, or secondary holsters to be added without altering the rucksack's structure. The main compartment is hydration-bladder-ready — bladder not included — allowing you to drink on the move without stopping to pull out a water bottle. Completing the load management: 2 side pockets for quick access to frequently used items, 2 internal mesh pockets for organising small accessories, and 1 top lid pocket for items you need to reach without opening the main compartment. The number of pockets resolves load fragmentation but does require a short familiarisation period: finding your own organisational system takes a few outings.
