With an empty weight of 1,400 g — comparable to a full 1.5-litre water bottle — it provides a robust structure without adding unnecessary base weight.

The back panel and shoulder straps in CORUND™ 500D fabric offer abrasion resistance superior to standard Cordura materials of equivalent weight, reducing the risk of tears from contact with vegetation, rock or metal equipment. This material choice involves a clear trade-off: the surface is stiffer and less soft to the touch than lightweight nylon, but it holds up better under repeated loading in harsh conditions without seam failure.

The internal organisation comprises 2 side pockets, 2 internal mesh pockets and 1 top lid pocket, allowing quick-access items — documents, first-aid kit, loose ammunition — to be kept separate from the main compartment contents.
