Plate carrier SATAC Tactical QR — Tan

The Tactical QR is a plate carrier in CORUND™ 500D fabric designed for those who need a quick-release ballistic system without giving up MOLLE real estate. It accepts plates in SAPI size M and weighs 1,480 g empty — a considered trade-off between protection and wearability for operators and shooters who carry the vest for hours at a time.

The quick-release system relies on 4 QD buckles — two at the shoulders and two at the sides — allowing you to shed the carrier in an emergency with a single movement per side. That advantage comes with a clear cost: the buckles add adjustment points but also components that need to be inspected and maintained. Those operating in very dusty environments should bear in mind that QD buckles require periodic cleaning to ensure they release the moment they are needed.

The elastic cummerbund, adjustable in both height and width, allows the fit to be tailored to different chest sizes without swapping any components, and the integrated side pockets in each cummerbund section can house side plates. The laser-cut front panel provides a MOLLE surface compatible with any NATO-standard accessory, without the weight of traditionally stitched rows — the open structure saves weight and improves airflow, though under heavy loads it may feel less rigid than a solid full panel.
