The GFC JPC is a two-panel plate carrier — front and back — connected by a skeletal cummerbund made of stiffened straps, designed for those looking for a lightweight and modular ballistic platform. The plate pockets accept medium-format inserts; included in the box are a pair of dense foam cut-outs, suitable for training and fitting checks before fitting real plates.

The front panel features an integrated three-slot magazine pouch compatible with M4/M16 and AK magazines, retained by elastic loops with a pull tab. This solution allows fast extraction and provides sufficient retention for ordinary movement, but offers less security than a rigid retention system or snap closure: those operating under high-intensity conditions or moving upside down should consider replacing it with a pouch offering a more robust closure. On the chest, a flat pocket with a hook-and-loop panel is sewn on, ready for patches or documents requiring quick access.

MOLLE webbing is distributed across both panels, allowing expansion with additional pouches to suit the operational configuration. Adjustment is continuous at the shoulders and sides, accommodating different body shapes without requiring separate adapters. The material is 600D nylon, balancing abrasion resistance with low empty weight — a choice aimed at core functionality rather than maximum durability under sustained stress.
