The GFC JPC is a split-panel plate carrier designed for those who want lightweight, modular ballistic protection without sacrificing portability. The skeletal cummerbund, made up of reinforced straps only, connects the front panel to the rear panel while keeping the unloaded weight to a minimum. The insertable plates are in medium format, and the carrier already includes two thick foam dummy inserts for volume and to get used to the fit before mounting real ballistic plates.
The front panel integrates a universal three-slot magazine pouch compatible with M4/M16 and AK magazines, retained by elastic bungee loops with a pull tab. This solution allows fast extraction and equally fast reloading, but offers less lateral retention than a rigid lock or press-stud closure: anyone using the vest in high-movement scenarios should bear this in mind. The MOLLE surface on both panels allows pouches and accessories to be added via the PALS system, expanding the configuration to suit operational needs.
On the chest there is a flat pocket with a hook-and-loop panel, useful for identification patches or document holders. The carrier is fully adjustable in height and width to fit different body types. The skeletal cummerbund does not feature side MOLLE panels: lateral modularity is therefore provided by the straps rather than a woven surface. The material is 600D nylon in Flecktarn camouflage.
