Miltec ThermoFleece Thermal Base Layer without Collar — Green/Khaki

Synthetic fleece thermal base layer without a collar, comprising a matching jacket and trousers. Designed for those who operate outdoors in cold conditions and need an insulating layer to wear under a uniform or outer shell, without a collar creating bulk or friction against the overlying garment.

The 100% polyester fleece fabric at 180 g/m² retains body heat and dries considerably faster than cotton when you sweat during exertion. Polyester does not absorb water into its fibres, so even when wet it retains part of its insulation and returns to working temperature as soon as physical activity resumes. The limitation of this material is that it does not block wind; paired with a windproof outer layer, however, the system works effectively.

The trousers feature an elasticated waistband and elasticated ankle cuffs that prevent the fleece from bunching over the boot or riding up during movement. The jacket is collarless, a choice that reduces bulk under tactical jackets with a high or elasticated collar.
