Tasmanian Tiger Modular Daypack L 18 l — Coyote

The Modular Daypack L is an 18-litre tactical pack built from Cordura® 700 den, designed for day missions, light patrol use or as a supplement to a main load-carrying system. With a profile of 46x27x12 cm and an empty weight of 800 g — barely more than a half-litre water bottle — it stays manageable even as the load builds throughout the day.

The Cordura® 700 den construction delivers significantly better abrasion resistance than standard civilian pack fabrics, without adding unnecessary weight. The lateral compression straps allow the volume to be cinched down when carrying a partial load, reducing internal movement and keeping the centre of gravity low on the back — a genuine advantage on uneven ground or during fast-paced movement.

The MOLLE webbing running around the pack's perimeter lets you attach additional pouches or accessories without permanent modifications: the configuration adapts to the task, not the other way round. The separate front pocket and the top carry handle round out a layout built for frequent access to kit on the move. Worth noting: the MOLLE system considerably expands customisation options, but every additional pouch adds to the total carried weight — it pays to plan the load before fitting everything available.

Key features

• The 18-litre Cordura® 700 den build covers a full operational day without the bulk of a 30-litre assault pack.
• Lateral compression straps stabilise partial loads and reduce internal movement during the march.
• The perimeter MOLLE system allows modular pouches to be attached without altering the pack's base profile.
• The dedicated front pocket keeps quick-access items separate from the main compartment, so there's no need to open the whole pack for frequently used gear.
• An empty weight of 800 g leaves meaningful payload capacity without burdening the carrier unnecessarily.
• The top carry handle allows the pack to be moved quickly without putting it on.
