The Fenix GL22 is a pistol-mounted weapon light with integrated red laser, designed for those who use a weapon light as an operational tool. Its compact footprint — 67 mm long, 31 mm wide and 42 mm tall — allows it to fit full-size pistols with a Glock or Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rail without interfering with the grip.

The Luminus LED delivers 750 lumens with a beam reach of up to 180 metres. The controls are ambidextrous: a single tap on the left or right side activates the light without shifting your hand position, reducing response time in a critical situation. Holding the switch activates strobe, useful for disorienting a threat without opening fire. Three output modes — white light only, red laser only, or both simultaneously — let you match the output to the situation: the laser speeds up target acquisition at a glance, the white light illuminates the area, and running both together maximises available information.

The main trade-off is runtime: white light at full power lasts 35 minutes, which is adequate for fragmented operational use but not for extended sessions without recharging. The red laser, which draws far less power, runs for 17 hours. The included battery is a rechargeable 16340 lithium-ion cell with a micro USB port; it is also compatible with the non-rechargeable CR123A, giving you a backup option without needing to carry a cable. The unit is IP66 rated: fully dust-tight and protected against direct water jets. Weight with battery: 94 grams.
