The attachment system combines a VELCRO hook-and-loop panel on the back with MOLLE/PALS loops on the outer face, providing two mounting options on the same piece. The hook-and-loop panel allows the pouch to be repositioned in seconds without tools, ideal when kit configuration changes between outings; the MOLLE loops add mechanical stability when the pouch is loaded and movement is intense. It is a deliberate trade-off: those who prioritise speed of reconfiguration will use the hook-and-loop; those who want maximum rigidity will rely on the MOLLE loops. Both options can coexist, but the system works best when one is chosen as the primary constraint.
