The TAC Pouch 4 Horizontal is a compact utility pouch from Tasmanian Tiger, designed for horizontal attachment to MOLLE/PALS systems. Measuring 10x15x4 cm and weighing 95 g, it fits without bulk on plate carriers, chest rigs or tactical belts, keeping frequently used accessories within reach in a transverse orientation relative to the body's vertical axis.
The body is made from CORDURA® 500D, a technical fabric offering good abrasion and tear resistance while keeping weight low. The choice of this weight is a deliberate trade-off: lighter and more flexible than 1000D, yet sufficient for a wallet, operational documents, a minimal first-aid kit or small accessories, without adding unnecessary stiffness to a pouch of this size.
The attachment system spans 2 MOLLE rows in height and 3 columns in length, providing a mounting footprint that keeps the pouch stable even under heavy movement. The horizontal configuration makes it particularly suited to mounting positions where vertical space is limited – for example on the lower strip of a plate carrier or the front panel of a tactical belt, where a standard vertical pouch would interfere with arm movement or other already-mounted accessories.
Key features
- The horizontal profile allows mounting in areas where vertical pouches create interference with adjacent equipment.
- The 95 g weight does not affect the balance of the carry system, even when worn through extended shifts.
- CORDURA® 500D resists everyday wear without the stiffness of 1000D, keeping the pouch pliable in cold conditions.
- The 2x3 MOLLE attachment distributes the load evenly, reducing lateral sway under recoil or during running.
- MultiCam colouring integrates with the most widespread camouflage systems in operational and hunting environments across mixed terrain.
