The DCS Elite Ops is a plate carrier in 1000D Cordura developed by Warrior Assault Systems for operators requiring ballistic protection, an extensive MOLLE surface and quick-release capability in a single system. It accommodates hard plates up to 25x31 cm and soft side plates up to 20x15 cm, covering the most common sizes in modern tactical armour. Size M is sized for chest circumferences of 86 to 106 cm, size L for 106 to 127 cm.

The quick-release system allows the carrier to be shed in critical situations without manually undoing each element. The trade-off to consider is that quick-release mechanisms add components and potential wear points compared to a traditional pass-through system: they are the right choice when rapid egress is the priority, but require periodic maintenance of the release parts. The integrated drag handle also allows an incapacitated operator to be moved without gripping the shoulder straps.

The internal 3D spacer mesh lining reduces heat build-up against the body during extended wear, improving ventilation compared to a flat liner. The external MOLLE surfaces are compatible with the NATO standard and accept all double-webbing pouches on the market. The empty weight of the carrier is approximately 1.5 kg depending on size, keeping it light before any equipment is added.
