Retention is in line with closed holsters in this segment: sufficient for everyday carry and running, with a draw that requires a deliberate motion but is not slow.

Compatibility is limited to K and L frames; N, X or J frames fall outside the intended tolerances. Supported barrel length ranges from 51 mm to 76 mm; longer barrels will not fit, and very short barrels may sit less securely in the chamber.
