At 2100 g and a compact packed size, it can be carried in a rucksack without sacrificing insulation: this is the typical trade-off of medium-density synthetic fills, which give up some volume compared to down but retain their insulating properties when wet — a variable that in the field makes the difference between a manageable night and a dangerous one.

The hood is adjustable via an elasticated drawcord, allowing the opening to be closed around the face as temperatures drop.
