Airsoft pistols
Gas, CO₂ and electric airsoft pistols, for use as a secondary weapon or for short-range shooting.
Gas, CO₂ or electric
Gas is the most widespread choice: it replicates recoil and slide operation, and allows realistic loading. The main limitation is temperature, as below ten degrees pressure drops and performance follows.
CO₂ maintains constant pressure even in cold conditions, at the cost of greater stress on the seals and higher running costs. It is the choice for those who shoot in winter or need consistency between one magazine and the next.
Electric offers no recoil, but depends on nothing external and requires very little maintenance: it is the solution for indoor use and for those who want reliability without ongoing management.
If the pistol is intended for holster carry, check compatibility with holsters and consider the retention level appropriate for your intended use.
