The WE P14 Para is a CO2-powered GBB airsoft pistol based on the Para-Ordnance P14 in .45 calibre: a double-stack 1911 with increased magazine capacity. The 12 g CO2 cartridge is housed inside the magazine and keeps the pistol running reliably when temperatures drop — conditions where Green Gas loses pressure noticeably. The pistol is available in Black only.
Compared to Green Gas, CO2 operates at higher pressure, which translates into a sharper recoil and more consistent cycling between shots. That same higher pressure also makes the system more stable during autumn sessions and in climate-controlled indoor fields. The trade-off is that in summer, when ambient temperatures rise, CO2 pressure can climb beyond the optimal range: WE advises against using the CO2 magazine during the hottest weeks of the year, and that warning is worth taking seriously to protect the replica's seals.
The P14's double-stack frame increases magazine capacity over a standard 1911, giving you more BBs available without changing holster or grip. Anyone already comfortable with 1911 ergonomics will find the same trigger guard, the same frame profile and the same grip angle on the P14, with the practical advantage of reloading less often during a game session.
Key points
- The CO2 system holds performance at low temperatures, where Green Gas becomes unreliable.
- The stronger recoil compared to standard gas gives a more realistic and engaging shooting feel.
- The double-stack magazine's increased capacity reduces shooting interruptions during play.
- The 1911 ergonomics are familiar to anyone who already knows the platform and require no adaptation.
- The 12 g CO2 cartridge is widely available and compatible with WE magazines in the same family.
- Using the CO2 magazine in summer at high temperatures is not recommended by the manufacturer: keep this seasonal limitation in mind.
