Optics and sighting
Optics, sighting systems and accessories for mounting, firearms and airsoft replicas. The selection covers the full range of applications: from red dots for close-range engagement to high-magnification riflescopes for long-distance shooting.
How to choose
The first criterion is working distance. Under one hundred metres, speed of target acquisition is paramount, and a red dot without magnification is the most straightforward answer: both eyes open, no eye relief to account for. Between one hundred and three hundred metres you need to identify the target, and an LPVO handles both requirements while remaining at 1x when needed. Beyond that, the field belongs to variable-power riflescopes, where glass quality, turret travel and parallax compensation are the deciding factors.
The second criterion is mounting. An optic is only as good as the mount holding it: check the tube diameter or footprint before ordering, and consider the height relative to your natural eye position. Rings and adapters are available in the mounts and rings section.
For observation and ranging, the section includes binoculars, rangefinders, spotting scopes, thermal imagers and night vision devices.
