Vector Optics

The D29A is a protective lens cover designed for red dot sights with a front lens outer diameter of 28 to 30 mm. Built for dynamic shooters, hunters and operators who keep their optic mounted on the weapon in adverse weather or on the move, it shields the lens from dust, water and impacts during transport and field use.

The body is machined from 6063-T6 aluminium alloy: stiff enough to absorb accidental knocks without deforming or losing its grip on the objective, while keeping weight to a minimum. At just 4.5 g, it does not affect weapon balance or the overall weight distribution of the optic system — a detail that matters when working with setups already optimised to the gram.

The internal acrylic lens is integrated into the cap, which measures 8 mm in length and 31.5 mm in outer diameter. The compact geometry allows the cover to be removed and refitted in seconds, without tools and even with gloves on. The adjustable fit across the 28 to 30 mm outer diameter range ensures compatibility with most compact red dot sights on the market.
