Kicking Mustang KMCS Helmet Cover — Next-Gen Green

The KMCS Helmet Cover is a universal camouflage cover featuring laser-cut leaves, designed for those operating in natural environments where the head — the most exposed part of the body — cannot afford to stand out. The Next-Gen Green pattern is calibrated for dense green vegetation, suited to spring and summer conditions and to woodland or scrubland environments.

The laser-cut leaves break up the rigid profile of the helmet and introduce movement and three-dimensionality that plain dyed fabric cannot provide. This is the key point: a flat, monochrome helmet, even in a camouflage colour, retains its geometric shape and is easily recognised; the flexible tabs move in the wind and interrupt that outline, bringing the silhouette closer to that of the surrounding vegetation. The cover also protects the outer surface of the helmet from scratches and abrasion during movement through wooded terrain.

Attachment is via a hook-and-loop system, allowing quick, tool-free fitting and equally fast removal when the environment changes. Thanks to its flexible cut, the system is compatible with FAST, MICH, EXFIL and the majority of tactical helmets on the market. The trade-off to bear in mind is that the cover is not rigidly shaped to any specific model: fit is excellent on most helmets, but on particularly unusual geometries some manual adjustment of the tabs may be needed to cover the perimeter areas evenly.
