Neck Gaiter CYGNUS ARMORY Face Warrior Defender — Multicam

The Face Warrior Defender is a neck gaiter with structural reinforcement in SS304 stainless steel and carbon fibre, designed for airsoft. It covers the neck, chin and lower face, providing an additional barrier against BBs in close-contact situations, without replacing approved facial protection.

The internal structure combines SS304 stainless steel with a carbon fibre reinforcement: these two materials stiffen the chin and cheekbone area without adding excessive bulk, maintaining the low profile needed to avoid interfering with cheek weld or with a low-profile mask. The outer shell in 100% polyester retains the rigid components and fits the face with enough stretch not to restrict head movement.

The trade-off of this type of protection is worth keeping in mind: a reinforced neck gaiter protects the neck and chin better than a fabric-only version, but leaves the upper face exposed. It must be paired with ballistic eyewear or a mask covering the eyes and forehead. Those already wearing full face protection may find it redundant at the chin; those using goggles and a lightweight balaclava will instead find it a useful addition in close-quarters games.
