OLIGHT Ostation 2 PRO Battery Charger — Black

The Ostation 2 PRO is a charging and testing station for rechargeable NiMH batteries in AA and AAA format, with a total capacity of 24 cells (12 AA and 12 AAA) in a single cycle. It is designed for those who use rechargeable batteries in large quantities — radios, torches, night-vision devices, electronic field accessories — and need to manage, test and charge batteries systematically without losing track of their charge status.

Automatic detection distinguishes working cells from defective ones: the former begin charging immediately, the latter are flagged separately. This prevents unreliable batteries from being put back into service — a silent error that in field operations can go unnoticed until the device fails. The stated charge time is approximately 2.5 hours, with built-in protection against overcharging, overheating and short circuits. The onboard display shows the status of each slot; the Olight app for iOS and Android allows remote monitoring of the charging process via a dedicated connection.

Power is supplied via a mains lead with an EU plug and USB-C connection to the device. The housing is ABS. As this is an AC charger, it is intended for use in a fixed location or in a vehicle with a suitable adaptor — it is not a portable field device. Those looking to charge lithium batteries on the move will find more suitable options elsewhere in the Olight range.
