The PREDATOR CHARLIE is an airsoft gun in M4/AR15 format with a KeyMod handguard of 10" — equivalent to approximately 254 mm — resulting in a compact, well-balanced platform suited to dynamic CQB shooting and the confined spaces typical of indoor milsim. Overall length varies between 725 mm and 805 mm depending on stock position, the inner barrel measures 320 mm and muzzle velocity sits at 115 m/s. At 2250 g, the weight falls in the middle range for AEG airsoft guns of this format.

The ABS body with KeyMod handguard is not aluminium, and that is the trade-off to consider clearly: the lower weight and more accessible entry cost come at the price of reduced structural rigidity compared to metal-alloy airsoft guns. For intensive field use — especially with heavier accessories mounted on the rail — this is worth bearing in mind. The KeyMod mounting system does, however, allow you to fit Picatinny segment rails, grips, torches and sling mounts only where needed, keeping overall weight down and the handguard surface free from unnecessary heat build-up.

The gearbox is a Version 2 in QSC configuration, with 14 piston teeth, 7 mm metal ball bearings and a metal spring guide: the parts that most affect mechanical longevity are already in a suitable material. The plastic piston head and plastic nozzle are standard wear components and do not compromise operation, but it is useful to know where to look first when replacement is needed. The manufacturer recommends BBs of 0.25 g to 0.28 g and M120 springs to avoid out-of-spec stress on the gearbox. The barrel thread is 14 mm counter-clockwise, compatible with most suppressors and tracer units available on the European market. The included mid-cap magazine holds 120 BBs and has a plastic body. Power is supplied by a stick battery in the buffer tube with a Small Tamiya connector; battery and charger are not included.
